Mayar Reda, born in 1996 in Alexandria, is a visual artist, educator, and experimental type designer. In 2021-2022, she earned a prestigious scholarship to pursue an MA in Typography and Arabic Type Design in Germany, where she deepened her research into Arabic manuscripts. Since graduating in 2023, Reda has led workshops in Berlin and Cairo, focusing on Arabic letterform construction, font development, and integrating type with visual design. Her expertise has made her a sought-after instructor in the design community.
