Mariam Ayman, born in 2001, is a political science graduate currently working in the External Relations and Protocol sector at the Library of Alexandria. A self-taught visual artist, she began with traditional painting and transitioned to digital art, winning third place in the Imagine If digital art competition in 2021. Mariam believes in incorporating art into all aspects of life, seeing it as an escape that represents the struggle between her aspirations and the imposter syndrome that can overshadow her achievements.
