Karma Amer was born in 2001, and is currently studying in her final year of graphic design at The
American University in Cairo. Karma is extremely passionate about design, especially designing to
raise awareness about significant issues. When she is not working on her design skills, her favorite
hobby is reading. “The Cool Kids” poster was created in one of the design courses at the AUC taught by Dr. Ghalia El Srakbi. The purpose of this poster is to shed the light on the dangers of
global warming using fun, unique, and eye-catching design elements.
