Ebrahim Bahaa-Eldin
Anthropologist and Photographer
Ebrahim Bahaa-Eldin is an anthropologist and photographer based in Cairo, Egypt. He utilizes his anthropological studies to inform his photography, exploring themes of space, time, and memory. By questioning and reinterpreting reality, Ebrahim creates new forms of storytelling that foster personal connections to one's surroundings. His work has been featured in publications such as *Granta Magazine* and *Atmos Earth*, and he has exhibited at the Open Eye Gallery in Liverpool, Le18 in Marrakech, and Cairo Photo Week. In his latest project, "What to Do When You Cannot Hold a Mountain Between Your Arms?" he examines Cairo's evolving cityscape and critiques new development policies.
