Amer Alissa is a Syrian multidisciplinary designer and modern calligrapher, born in 1992. He developed the visual identity and brand strategy of many brands and startups worldwide. He performed two live calligraphy shows in the Syrian pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai, where his work was also displayed. He won a gold and silver medal for branding projects at the INDIGO Awards in Amsterdam, 2018 and 2020. Additionally, he won the first place in "Sketch for Syria" workshop for reconstruction in Syria with the UN, ESCWA, and IUAV University in Milan, 2017. Amer has a bachelor's degree in graphic design and visual communication in 2015 from the Faculty of Fine Art at Damascus University.
